Nov. 20 FBS top 25

Here's our stab at a Football Bowl Subdivision top 25.

1. Alabama (11-0) — Say anything you want about rivalries, Auburn won't beat this team.

2. Clemson (11-0) — Only thing between the Tigers and the College Football Playoff is complacency.

3. Notre Dame (11-0) — Crushed a good Syracuse team.

4. Michigan (10-1) — Bring on the Buckeyes.

5. Georgia (10-1) — Can't get caught looking ahead to 'Bama.

6. Oklahoma (10-1) — Trip to Morgantown this weekend should be a terrific take.

7. LSU (9-2) — Hopes to continue its dominance over Texas A&M.

8. Central Florida (10-0) — Finds itself right in the middle of the "outsider" playoff chase again.

9. Ohio State (10-1) — This is a truly flawed team right now.

10. Washington State (10-1) — Hope to take a big bite of the Apple this week.

11. West Virginia (8-2) — Stomach punch of a defeat in a game that the Mountaineers had in control.

12. Penn State (8-3) — Beat Rutgers, 20-7, which has the sound of a very boring game.

13. Florida (8-3) — Seemed to turn the ship around since Missouri loss.

14. Texas (7-3) — Nice win over a quality Iowa State squad.

15. Syracuse (8-3) — Game with Boston College this weekend has a little more spice than usual.

16. Utah State (10-1) — Huge showdown with Boise State up next.

17. Washington (8-3) — Could singlehandedly sink the Pac-12's dwindling playoff hopes by beating Washington State.

18. Kentucky (8-3) — Should take care of Louisville, which is a mess right now.

19. Boise State (9-2) — Coming in hot at the right time.

20. Utah (8-3) — Huge rivalry game with BYU won't be a picnic.

21. Northwestern (7-4) — Their strength and conditioning coach is creating more buzz than the team right now.

22. Mississippi State (7-4) — Facing its exact opposite this week against Mississippi.

23. Texas A&M (7-4) — Has a solid chance of knocking off LSU.

24. Pittsburgh (7-4) — This team's success has bolstered Central Florida's resume a tad.

25. Fresno State (9-2) — Clinched a spot in the Mountain West title game, which could include either Utah State or Boise State.
