Oct. 22 New England FBS/FCS Top 10

Our top 10 rankings for the Football Bowl Subdivision and Football Championship Subdivision teams in New England.

1. Boston College (4-3) — Massive win over NC State. Not just doing it, but the way the Eagles did it. 2. Dartmouth (5-0) — Should come to Harvard with a perfect mark. 3. Yale (4-1) — Nice win over Richmond.

4. Harvard (4-1) — Everything gets tougher from this point on.

5. Holy Cross (3-4) — Turnovers a killer against a very good Harvard team. 6. New Hampshire (4-3) — Doesn't get easier with Villanova next. 7. UConn (1-6) — Battled hard in loss to Houston.

8. UMass (1-6) — Fewer things sweeter than a win over UConn, which the Minutemen have a chance for this weekend.

9. Central Conn. (6-1) — Really on a roll right now.

10. Maine (2-5) — Has the chance to finish strong.
