Oct. 30 New England FBS/FCS Top 10

Our top 10 rankings for the Football Bowl Subdivision and Football Championship Subdivision teams in New England.

1. Boston College (4-4) — Should be able to beat Syracuse this week. 2. Dartmouth (6-0) — Keeps putting up huge numbers. 3. Yale (5-1) — Can't look ahead to that Princeton game in a couple weeks.

4. Harvard (4-2) — Can get right into the thick of the Ivy League title chase by beating Dartmouth.

5. Holy Cross (4-4) — Massive showdown at Lehigh coming up. 6. New Hampshire (4-3) — At least the Villanova game is at home. 7. UConn (2-6) — Holy Name and Shepherd Hill alum Kevin Mensah ran all over his home state Saturday.

8. Central Conn. (7-1) — Only loss a very competitive one to Eastern Michigan. 9. UMass (1-7) — Minutemen likely staring down a 1-10 season. 10. Maine (3-5) — Nice way to get back on track against William & Mary.
