2. Alabama (5-0) — Doubt Texas A&M will offer too much of a challenge.

3. LSU (5-0) — Game with Florida is always an absolute war.

4. Georgia (5-0) — Should not have any issues with South Carolina.

5. Ohio State (6-0) — Bye week before trip to Northwestern.

6. Oklahoma (5-0) — Here comes Texas.

7. Texas (4-1) — Sam Ehlinger can fire his Heisman campaign back up with a big game.

8. Notre Dame (4-1) — USC is talented enough to make game at South Bend interesting.

9. Wisconsin (5-0) — Should take care of Michigan State.

10. Florida (6-0) — Super-impressive win over Auburn.

11. Auburn (5-1) — Still feel this team is dangerous.

12. Oregon (4-1) — The defense here should not be overlooked.

13. Penn State (5-0) — Road games at Iowa are always a huge trap.

14. Boise State (5-0) — Should be fine against Hawaii on the mainland.

15. Virginia (4-1) — Friday night game at Miami not an easy task.

16. Wake Forest (5-0) — Gets a confident Louisville team next. 17. Texas A&M (3-2) — Hanging on here by a thread.

18. Utah (4-1) — Oregon State on the road a little tougher than one might expect.

19. Arizona State (4-1) — Takes on a Wazzu team that is never an easy out.

20. Michigan (4-1) — Illinois before the huge Penn State showdown. 21. SMU (6-0) — Went the extra mile to beat Tulsa.

22. Iowa (4-1) — In a good position to recover by coming home for Penn State.

23. Baylor (5-0) — Schedule gets tougher at the back end.

24. Memphis (5-0) — This program continues to outperform expectations.
