Week 3 MIAA compilation poll

Every week, we put together a statewide compilation poll that includes our rankings along with that of Suite Sports, the only other human statewide poll we know of. We combine that with the two computer polls of record, calpreps and Massey.

1. Everett (3-0) — Still a consensus here.

2. Lincoln-Sudbury (3-0) — Holding steady, only No. 3 in our poll and Massey.

3. Catholic Memorial (3-0) — Big jump in the computers pushes the Knights up a few spots.

4. Xaverian (2-1) — Tied with CM, bu we give the nod to the team doing better in the human polls.

5. St. John's Prep (2-1) — Loss to Everett did little to hurt this team in any ranking.

6. Duxbury (3-0) — Suite Sports a little lower on the Dragons than everyone else.

7. North Andover (3-0) — Computers have finally come around to how good this team is.

8. Mansfield (2-1) — Top 10 everywhere but our poll, where the Hornets are No. 11.

9. Tewksbury (3-0) — Both computers have the Redmen in the top 10.

10. Needham (3-0) — Calpreps a little lower than everyone else, but a near consensus here.

11. King Philip (2-1) — Like Needham, pretty agreeable rankings across the board.

12. North Attleboro (2-1) — Calpreps with the Red Rocketeers at No. 9 the real outlier here.

13. Springfield Central (2-1) — Another team that is on pretty steady ground.

14. Hingham (2-0) — Both computers very high on the Harbormen.

15. Brockton (2-0) — Calpreps the lone holdout on the Boxers as a top 25 team.

16. Shrewsbury (3-0) — Massey has the Colonials outside its top 25, dragging them down a bit.

17. Doherty (3-0) — Top 10 in both human polls, outside the top 25 in both computers.

18. Mashpee (3-0) — Falcons saw a bit of a drop in both computer polls this week.

19. Braintree (3-0) — Calpreps still the lone holdout on the Wamps.

20. Central Catholic (1-2) — Hanging on by a bit of a thread most places but Massey, where the Raiders check in at No. 16.

21. Nashoba (3-0) — Calpreps the biggest believer in the Chieftains at No. 17.

22. Stoneham (3-0) — Making steady progress basically everywhere.

23. BC High (1-2) — Top 25 still in both computer polls.

24. Danvers (3-0) — Both computers have the Falcons at No. 19.

25. Billerica (2-0) — Massey's No. 18 allows the Indians to sneak in.
