Week 5 MIAA compilation poll

Every week, we put together a statewide compilation poll that includes our rankings along with that of Suite Sports, the only other human statewide poll we know of. We combine that with the two computer polls of record, calpreps and Massey.

1. Everett (5-0) — No. 1 everywhere still.

2. Xaverian (3-1) — Only No. 3 on calpreps.

3. St. John's Prep (4-1) — Top four in every poll.

4. Duxbury (5-0) — The No. 2 team on calpreps.

5. North Andover (5-0) — Only Massey has this team outside the top five (No. 6).

6. Acton-Boxboro (5-0) — All between Nos. 6 and 8.

7. Mansfield (4-1) — MassVarsity's No. 11 spot still a bit lower than anywhere else.

8. Needham (5-0) — Both MassVarsity and calpreps have the Rockets at No. 10.

9. Lincoln-Sudbury (4-1) — Massey the lowest at No. 10.

10. Catholic Memorial (3-2) — Everyone between Nos. 8 and 11 with the Knights.

11. North Attleboro (4-1) — Calpreps highest on the Red Rocketeers at No. 11.

12. King Philip (3-2) — Massey with KP at No. 11 gives a boost here.

13. Tewksbury (4-1) — Massey high on the Redmen at No. 12.

14. Springfield Central (4-1) — Anywhere from No. 12 (MassVarsity) to No. 21 (Suite Sports).

15. Doherty (5-0) — Computers still skeptical on the Highlanders, as neither has them in the top 25

16. Central Catholic (3-2) — Calpreps (outside the top 25) and Massey (No. 13) in big disagreement here.

17. Natick (3-2) — Suite Sports (No. 13) and calpreps (outside the top 25) the main disparity.

18. Mashpee (5-0) — Massey still has the Falcons outside the top 25.

19. Falmouth (4-0) — Jumped up to No. 15 in Massey.

20. Scituate (4-1) — Both computers, especially calpreps at No. 12, like the Sailors.

21. Hingham (3-1) — MassVarsity the only one with Harbormen outside the top 25.

22. Holliston (4-0) — Unranked by the humans, but ranked in both computers.

23. Nashoba (5-0) — MassVarsity highest on the Chieftains at No. 14.

24. Brockton (2-2) — At No. 24 in both computer polls.

25. BC High (2-3) — Only outside the top 25 in Suite Sports.
