Week 7 MIAA compilation poll

Every week, we put together a statewide compilation poll that includes our rankings along with that of Suite Sports, the only other human statewide poll we know of. We combine that with the two computer polls of record, calpreps and Massey.

1. Everett (7-0) — No. 1 across the board.

2. Xaverian (5-1) — Only still No. 2 in MassVarsity.

3. St. John's Prep (6-1) — Moved up to No. 2 in Massey.

4. Duxbury (7-0) — Up to No. 2 in calpreps.

5. North Andover (7-0) — Now No. 2 in Suite Sports.

6. Acton-Boxboro (7-0) — Pretty decent consensus everywhere.

7. Lincoln-Sudbury (6-1) — Jumps Mansfield.

8. Mansfield (6-1)— Dropped to No. 10 in calpreps.

9. Catholic Memorial (5-2) — Dropped to No. 14 in calpreps.

10. Springfield Central (6-1) — Up to No. 9 in calpreps.

11. Central Catholic (5-2) — Massey still loving the Raiders at No. 8.

12. Tewksbury (6-1) — Anywhere from No. 11 (Massey) to No. 20 (Suite Sports).

13. Doherty (7-0) — Big jump thanks to both computers finally putting the Highlanders in the top 25.

14. King Philip (5-2) — Fell to No. 23 in calpreps.

15. Hingham (5-1) — With MassVarsity jumping in, all four outlets have the Harbormen in the top 25.

16. Natick (5-2) — Suite Sports moving the Redhawks into the top 10 helps here.

17. Holliston (6-0) — Now up to No. 8 in calpreps.

18. Marblehead (7-0) — Now ranked in all four polls, with the computers a little higher on the Magicians.

19. Falmouth (6-0) — Clippers getting the most love from MassVarsity at No. 14.

20. St. John's (S) (5-2) — Only outside the top 25 in calpreps.

21. Scituate (6-1) — A little more popular with the computers still.

22. Mashpee (7-0) — Still saved by the humans, as both computers have the Falcons outside the top 25.

23. Stoneham (6-1) — Only outside the top 25 on MassVarsity.

24. Shrewsbury (6-1) — Both inside the top 20 in the human polls, and outside the top 25 in the computers.

25. Reading (6-1) — MassVarsity (No. 20) and calpreps (No. 18) higher on the Rockets than Suite Sports and Massey, which have them outside the top 25.
